DIOS MABALOS PO FOUNDATION, Inc. started as an organization responding to victims of calamities and disasters. As such, DMPF has reached Aklan, Iloilo, Cagayan De Oro, Manila, Tuguegarao, Laguna, Antique, Romblon, where warm bodies are needed to cook, to distribute, to feed, to provide clothing, shelter, solar lamps, purified water, and to heal.
Dios Mabalos Po Foundation, Inc. was conceptualized after Typhoon Reming. Mrs. Mediatrix Villanueva and her daughter Elaine (now Sr. Elaine Madonna Villanueva RNDM) had managed the Ayuda Albay – a mechanism set up by Governor Fernando V Gonzalez to ensure integrity in the delivery of goods and services.
We also care for the sick and those in need of surgery.
We care for the malnourished children, their malnourished moms and the lactating mothers. We care for children in their years to be weaned. We provide medicines for them, both mother and child.
We meet our co-workers in schools community organizations and parishes. We work with the LGU.
We work with the indigenous people in programs and projects identified by them.
We gather the elderly for eye screening and with co-workers and partners, we are able to provide surgery for cataract and pterygium.
We gather the young with strabismus for surgery by our partners.
We gather the children with cleft lip and cleft palate for surgery by our partners.
We help parents who bring their children in need of surgery. We refer neurological and cardio cases (hydrocephalus and spina bifida).
We attend to needs of children with cancer.
We visit the imprisoned. We visit the sick. We are in solidarity with those who mourn the loss of a loved one.
We are people for people.
