On an early May 28th morning, Team A of Dios Mabalos Po Foundation sailed to Masbate City on the way to Mandaon, Masbate for the initial review of sites identified for the Water Filtration Ministry.
Robert Aragon, co-founder of the Water Filtration Ministry arrived from San Diego, California to lead the teams that set up the water filtration tanks. Ten tanks were distributed in Mandaon, Masbate in cooperation with Sarah Espano, proponent.
Ten other tanks are to be set up in various elementary schools and barangay communities. Clean water for all is the goal of this Mercy Mission in Masbate.
The Mercy Mission in Masbate of Dios Mabalos Po Foundation included social services like Nutrition for Pregnant and Lactating Moms; Assisi Development Foundation provided Manna Fortified Rice from Risen Saviors; Mission and Multi Vitamins from Vitamin Angels.
DMPF also did eye screening for adults to identify error or refraction, cataract and pterygium. Persons 40 years and above were encouraged to undergo the vision screening.
